Based in Albury, our client is a Construction and Building company, where the opportunity has now arisen to take on a motivated and proactive individual to complete an Apprenticeship in Carpentry.

 

About the Role

This is a career-start opportunity leading to an industry recognised qualification with the opportunity to develop your skills on the job in a team environment.

The successful candidate will be trained in all Carpentry skills with your duties including but not limited to:

• Assisting with the construction of cut on site frames
• Regular use of hand and power tools
• Assisting tradesmen on a daily basis
• Maintain cleanliness of the associated work area
• Complete all documentation related to jobs
• General site duties, as required to support business requirements

Our client is also open to received applications from those who may be in their 2^nd or 3^rd year of their apprenticeship.

 

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Be honest and reliable
• Have a current driver's licence and own transport
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

You will require a high level of motivation to successfully complete the practical and theory based components of your Apprenticeship.

 

Training Requirements

As part of this Apprenticeship, you will undertake Certificate III in Carpentry. A commitment to completing on and off the job training requirements of this Apprenticeship is necessary.

Please note that relevant RTO/Training fees are covered by Kestrel.

 

What you will be provided

Throughout the duration of this Apprenticeship, you will be provided with ongoing support by your Consultant at Kestrel which will include career advice, pay enquiries, performance appraisals, etc.

 

This is an entry level position and applicable award wages will apply.
