An opportunity has now arisen to take on a respectful and motivated individual to undertake a Certificate II in Engineering.

 

About the Role

This exciting entry-level opportunity will teach you relevant assembly and quality procedures among those who are experts in this field. The successful candidate will learn the daily assembly and testing of hydraulic components while reporting to the Hydraulics Team Leader.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Assembly of hydraulic products
  • Testing of hydraulic products
  • Deburring manifolds
  • Picking stock as per works order specifications
  • Cleaning, painting and detailing of completed products
  • Assisting in other areas of production as directed
  • Issuing and completing work orders as required
  • Quality assurance procedures and participating in relevant quality related functions

 

This is an entry level position and applicable award wages will apply.

 

About you

The successful candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine willingness to learn. You must also have good time management skills, housekeeping skills and the ability to multi task. 

A High School Certificate or equivalent is a prerequisite.

 

Training Requirements

As part of this Traineeship, you will undertake Certificate II in Engineering.  A commitment to completing on and off the job training requirements of this Traineeship is necessary.

Please note that relevant RTO/Training fees are covered by Kestrel.

 

What you will be provided

Throughout the duration of this Traineeship you will be provided with ongoing support by your Consultant at Kestrel which will include career advice, pay enquiries, performance appraisals, etc.
