Our client's products are not only well known in Wangaratta and throughout North East Victoria, but are also distributed throughout Australia and to a worldwide Market. Our client's business has over 17 years of experience in the cooling and misting industry, covering commercial, industrial and domestic indoor and outdoor systems. Due to high demand and market growth, the opportunity has now arisen to take on a motivated and proactive individual to complete a Certificate II in Engineering.

 

About the Role

This is a career-start opportunity leading to an industry recognised qualification with the opportunity to develop your skills on the job in a team environment.

The successful candidate will be trained to assemble and operate a large variety of mist sprayers with your duties including but not limited to:

• Assembling and constructing spraying units
• Maintaining and using hand and power tools
• Interpreting and understanding drawings, diagrams and specifications
• Maintaining a clean work area and environment
• Knowledge of basic work place safety practices
• Basic computer use.

This is an entry level position and applicable award wages will apply.

Training Requirements

As part of this position you will undertake a Certificate II in Engineering. A commitment to completing on and off the job training requirements of this Traineeship is necessary. 

Please note that relevant RTO/Training fees are covered by Kestrel.

Throughout the duration of this Traineeship you will be provided with ongoing support by your Consultant at Kestrel which will include career advice, pay enquiries, performance appraisals, etc.
